Frequently Asked Questions
Do you teach all ages? Skill levels?
Yes! We have no age restrictions and teach students of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents. And, all of our instructors are able to teach all skill levels, from someone who has never touched an instrument to people who have been playing for years.
Do I need the instrument I want to learn?
For our Guitar, Bass and Ukulele lessons, we have loaners you can use for your lessons. For our Piano and Drum lessons, we have two of each in every lesson room so even if you do end up having your own at home, no need to bring those in! Should you end up making more of a commitment to lessons, we would recommend you have an instrument to practice on at home, and we can help set you up with affordable options, plus a student discount, at our Music Store!

We do not have loaner instruments for banjo, flute and saxophone lessons, you will need to bring in your own if you would like to learn these instruments.
Are parents allowed in the lesson?
Sure! All of our lessons are taught one-on-one, but parents are always welcome to observe the lessons if they'd like. However, we do not require parents to observe or attend lessons, and you are welcome to drop your student off and pick them up from the front of the building or lobby too.
Free Trial Lessons
All new prospective students are invited to take a FREE 30 minute trial lesson, where you can become acquainted with the lesson format and make certain you are happy with your instrument choice and like your instructor before you commit to paid lesson time with us. Book your Free Trial Here!
Lesson Prices
By committing to a regular standing lesson, once a week at the same time each week, we do charge a one-time $50 registration fee (and $15 for each additional immediate family member or sibling). As an enrolled student, you receive a discount on pricing: $45 per half hour lesson or $75 per hour lesson.
However, if scheduling a regular standing lesson each week does not work well for you, you can still book single lessons as you’d like: $55 per half hour lesson or $85 per hour lesson.
Do you have any discounts?

Family Discount: When you book more than one lesson in the same calendar week (either for the same student, or for another student in your household), the first lesson will be charged at the normal rate, and the second will come in $5 less. For example, the first student's half hour lesson would be $45 and the second and/or third lessons would be $40 each. Please note this discount is only applicable to the private lessons.
